Horse Head, developed by Maddy Butcher, features posts on equine brain science and how it relates to our horsemanship and horse-human interactions.

Horse Head is a resource for those owners and riders who crave serious yet easy-to-absorb, science-oriented articles. These pieces will take complicated topics – brain function, neurochemistry, etc. – and relate them in readily applicable manner. Take a simple thing: licking and chewing. It’s a manifestation of a change in the horse’s nervous system. But that’s the tip of the iceberg. There’s so much more to talk about.

Horse Head is the sixth website established by Butcher. Learn more about that here.
